The Man's career.

Gareth Swanepoel has notched up a long list of South African and International titles. The talented South African moved to Europe at the tender age of 15 to further his professional racing career following in the footsteps of fellow countrymen, Greg Albertyn and Grant Langston.

Moving to the MX1 class in 2009 was seen a strategic decision for the South African after his tenure in the MX2 class which saw Swanepoel on the podium on no less than two occasions. Finishing 8th in his rookie season in the premier MX1 class, aboard a factory Kawasaki, Swanepoel moved to the factory CAS Honda squad before deciding to move to the USA.

Now a regualr top 5 contender in the AMA nationals representing the Yamaha Star Racing team, Swanepoel is looking for his first AMA podium finish.
